A big city like Los Angeles has to deal with many important and challenging issues, such as crime, traffic, homelessness, deteriorating infrastructure, pollution, and gangs. Confronting these problems and developing successful strategies and solutions to solve them is critical to the future of the City. L.A Roundtable, a one-hour program that debuted on LA Cityview 35 in May 2005, brings together politicians, community leaders, managers of state and local agencies, academic researchers, and other stakeholders to discuss the problems we face living here in Southern California. With KCAL-9 political reporter Dave Bryan moderating, each episode is devoted to just one issue, enabling guest panelists to discuss the problem and its potential solutions in depth.
